95 is ablaze.
a coworker comes into my office to tell me that if the sherrifs department calls, we were trying to call 911. <blink> she then procedes to tell me that 95 is on fire. so i turn around and look out the window and sure enough, a big black plume of smoke is rising from the left hand side of interstate 95 southbound. hmmmm....good to know. *goes to check on my nonexistant disaster recovery plan* I ask her why they would call us back, and it turns out that they kept getting disconnected. it seems that everyone who has driven by with a cell phone in the past 10 mins has also been calling. kind of makes you wonder about 911 in a real big emergency. i guess if it cant handle calls from a bunch of people on 95, what happens if a large scale emergency occurs? *buys plans online for large bomb shelter*
